To Celebrate International Women’s Month this year we invited our mum’s, female carers and females working within Our Community, to visit the School and talk to some of the children about the work they do.
We are grateful to all the women who were able to do this. It was fascinating to listen to the amazing jobs they do and the children, particularly the girls, found it very inspiring. They were left with a clear message, namely, that women can access and succeed in all industries, including stereotypically male dominated roles.
This is our second successful year doing this and we intend to do this again next year.
